Division of General Pediatrics

Quality Patient Care

The division of General Pediatrics encompasses a wide array of clinical services and sites. We provide high quality, accessible primary, specialty, and enhanced health care services for all children.

We also provide comprehensive care in general adolescent medicine, adolescent gynecology, adolescent prenatal, and parenting services.

Our Child Development and Protection Center Addresses the unique needs of physically and sexually abused children in the greater New York City metropolitan area. And our school-based health clinics Provide daily medical, dental, and mental health services on school days throughout the year.

Medical Education

The Fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics is a two-year program based at New York University School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan.

We also feature a Pediatric Residency Program, whose objectives are to to provide the very best care to the children and families who rely on us, to prepare future pediatric clinicians and researchers, and to conduct vitally important research.

Research

The division of General Pediatrics is committed to the advancement of knowledge through research, with the overall goal of improving child health.

Recent research interests within our division have included pediatric obesity, media violence, medical education, immunization delivery, low level lead exposure, child development.
