The Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at NYU Medical Center is an academically oriented program that is committed to providing modern, family centered and highly personalized care to children with cancer and blood diseases. 

The Division has a long-standing history in the field and takes advantage of the rich scientific and clinical resources of the NYU Langone Medical Center and the NYU School of Medicine.

We strive for excellence in patient care, teaching, research and advocacy for children with both common and rare disorders.

Our specific mission is fourfold:

  • To provide the most modern, effective therapy for children by a team of specialists who are leaders in their respective fields
  • To deliver personalized care in a healing environment that promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of children and their families
  • To use the tools of modern biology to identify the causes of childhood cancer and blood disorders
  • To rapidly translate scientific discovery into better treatments for all children
