Compassionate Care for Infants and Preemies

The NYU Neonatology Program at New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center is a complex academic program whose mission identifies that infants are not just smaller versions of adults but have different emotional needs and their physical development is unique.

The Neonatology Program provides in-patient care at two clinical sites, Tisch Hospital and Bellevue Hospital Center Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU).

The faculty at the NYU Langone School of Medicine provide oversight at both NICUs and the same specially trained neonatal staff cares for infants at both NICUs.

These NICUs are both New York State-designated Regional Tertiary Centers (RPC's). Each clinical center is capable of caring for the most critically ill infants and have associated affiliate institutions.
